Founded in 2015, the Górecki Chamber Orchestra brings together acclaimed European musicians. Their founders, violinist Michał Ćwiżewicz and pianist Łukasz Filipczak won the endorsement and blessing of Jadwiga Górecka, widow of the great Polish composer to champion Górecki's works, his outlook and philosophy alongside the music of other composers from the distant past right up to the present.
